Host Guidelines - June 16: Cross-Canada Action: #UniteAgainstRacism

We're bringing you on to the Action Network site, which we are using to manage events.

QUESTIONS? EMAIL info@migrantrights.ca

Events you can organize:
- A picket at local politician's office or another location that is appropriate
- A forum, community meeting or dinner
- A rally, march or other public action

It’s really important that we do this collectively. Organizers in each city are encouraged to reach out to the broadest group of allies under the umbrella of 'anti-racism and migrant justice' - union locals, police accountability activists, service providers, faith groups, as well as of course refugee and migrant led groups. These actions are about building new or strengthening existing local hubs of organizing that are connected to a cross-Canada network. Wherever possible - they must be led by self-organized groups of migrants and refugees. Think of June 16th as a step in this journey - so that we become more unified over the year.
