Host Guidelines - EBAA Phonebanking in 2020

We would love to have a phonebanking party with you.  Use our booking tool to create a detailed link for your party.  This tool will help you manage the rsvp's  and the social media links you need to let everyone know that we are having a party together.

Here are the guidelines:
We had a Big Tent meeting on February 1, 2020 where we set our strategy. We just ask that all phonebanking parties we co-host with you be primarily about voting rights and candidates and that they prioritise the states listed in our strategy if that is possible. Those states are, in order of preference; MI, NC, AZ, TX, WI, PA and FL.

Here are the instructions:
This system will contact your attendees three times. It is important that you understand those contacts so you can accurately fill out the form.

First contact - this is the public listing.

Second contact- when someone RSVP's, so they give us their name, email, postcode and phone number (knocking out Bob in Kentucky) they get both a screen and an email with further host instructions. This is where you would put the actual address of the event.

Third contact - people forget what they signed up for. About 24 hours before the event, we send them a reminder that they signed up, that we appreciate it and with a link back to the 'second contact' information. This really improves the rate of people who turn up.

If you need a list of the people who RSVP, we have to give you access to the report so just email us and tell us the email address you want that access to go to. You can then be given permission to download that report of attendees at any time.

The email you send should have three things in it: 1) notification that you put in a draft, 2) a request to send the RSVP report access to a particular email and 3) whether you want us to do a Facebook post or not. Send the email to ebaaphonebank@gmail.com

Okay!
The shorter and more descriptive, the better.
Virtual events do not require a location, but virtual events with a location will appear on the event campaign map. (Those without a location will appear in search results only.) At least a ZIP/postal code is required for map placement for virtual events.
Select the timezone in which your event will take place.
Add Banner Image (optional)

Upload an image or banner below. Your image should be 1500px wide by any height (600px is suggested). It will be scaled to a final size of 750px wide.

Okay!
This is shown to people before they RSVP. Let them know what the event will be like and why they should attend.
