Wednesday, July 20, 7-8:00 pm: New Hampshire Acts for Yemen

Join us to ask NH Representatives to help end the seven year war in Yemen by supporting H.J.Res.87 (Directing the removal of United States Armed Forces from hostilities in the Republic of Yemen that have not been authorized by Congress) and its companion bill in the Senate.  

We have a real opportunity for bringing more peace to world and US (especially NH District 1 represented by Rep. Pappas) citizens can make a difference. While the media continues to mostly ignore the War in Yemen, it's still the biggest humanitarian crisis in the world, and it can only continue with US support. The War Powers Resolution to stop US support of this war is in Congress and the momentum around it is remarkable!

In this Zoom meeting, we will start with a quick update on Yemen and current legislation to end US support for the Saudi-led coalition. Then we will take action together, telling our Representatives that we support their co-sponsorship of the Yemen War Powers Resolution.

Often we see violence in the world and feel powerless. It is a gift to have a chance to help make change that can quickly and directly save hundreds of thousands of lives. Join us!
