Join us to hear about NH Peace Action's work and to add your voice to the discussion.

The NH Peace Action Event Committee has made the decision to hold our Annual Membership Meeting online.

We'll begin with a centering action and hold the short Business Meeting, electing board members, setting budgets and passing any Resolutions (if you have any for the Board to consider, please contact Will Hopkins).

Next, we'll learn about NHPA's recent strategic planning process. We will both update the membership on the progress with this process to date, and also offer an opportunity for everyone to help with the strategic planning taking place through the summer of 2020.

We also promised a great speaker! Hassan El-Tayyab is FCNL’s lead lobbyist on Middle East policy. He is also responsible for representing FCNL with the various coalitions that work on these issues.Hassan will be covering major legislative battles expected in 2020 and the role NH representatives play in those battles.

Prior to joining FCNL in August 2019, Hassan was co-director of the national advocacy group Just Foreign Policy, where he led their lobbying work to advance a more progressive foreign policy in the Middle East and Latin America. He played a major role in the successful passage of the War Powers Resolution to end US military aid to the Saudi-UAE coalition’s war in Yemen.

While we won't be able to partake of a meal together physically, we can enjoy the company of like-minded peace activists! Join us in envisioning our work in creating a more just and peaceful world.
