Start: 2020-12-16 19:00:00 UTC Eastern Daylight Time (US & Canada) (GMT-04:00)

End: 2020-12-16 20:30:00 UTC Eastern Daylight Time (US & Canada) (GMT-04:00)

This is a virtual event

NH leadership has failed previously to protect the most impacted and marginalized populations during the COVID-19 Crisis.

NH Poor People's Campaign (NHPPC) continues onward to ensure that every resident in NH receives their Right to Healthcare without bias for being disabled, elderly, poor, people of color or for being homeless.

With the distribution of vaccines about to start, the NHPPC wants to remind Governor Sununu and all NH political and medical representatives that our most vulnerable residents are the KEY to the successful eradication of COVID-19 in NH.

We need your help to plan a statewide ACTION! At this planning session we will discuss:

  • Overview of the recent "Crisis Standards of Care State Disaster Medical Advisory Committee (SDMAC)" meeting (12/11/20).
  • Review the idea for statewide "Jericho Walks" to bring awareness of the healthcare rationing that could take place, right here in NH.
  • NH PPC DEMANDS the right to equitable healthcare. Therefore, NH needs:
    • A transparent a 'Crisis Standards of Care' for every medical facility - visible to all patients and families prior to admittance
    • A care plan without bias towards any impacted NH resident regardless of their social, economic, or life situations
    • To establish the right for patients and their family be aware of any "scoring" or prioritizing systems that may be used when providing care.

Please join us for this planning session. Perhaps you'd like to have an action made in YOUR community; we will help to build an action group. This is a statewide issue and we must address all communities. Register here

If you are unable to attend this meeting and have an idea on where in YOUR community can use support from the NH PPC, please email ideas to newhampshire@poorpeoplescampaign.org with the subject of “NH PPC Forward Together.”
