NJ Transit has proposed a new fracked-gas power plant in the Kearny Meadowlands. If approved, this power plant will become yet another major source of climate destroying greenhouse gases in our state, and will directly increase the pollution burden in environmental justice communities in Kearny, Newark, and Jersey City Heights.
