#NoDAPL Solidarity + Vote by Mail Party

Start: Tuesday, September 13, 2016 5:00 PM

End: Tuesday, September 13, 2016 7:00 PM

The movement to stop the Dakota Access Pipeline is growing stronger by the day, and it’s time for all of us to rise up and play a role in this fight – no matter where we live.

Join us on Tuesday, September 13 (5-7 pm) for a solidarity action at The Waiting Room Lounge in Omaha, where we'll join together for a group photo and jointly call on President Obama to instruct the Army Corps of Engineers to revoke the permits for this dirty oil pipeline.

We hope to call attention to the brave water and land protectors at Standing Rock and urge President Obama to halt construction on Dakota Access.

Let us know you're coming -- sign up on this page to receive action updates.

Wear your Pipeline Fighter t-shirt and bring a homemade sign tagged "People Over Pipelines" or #NoDAPL (we will also provide signs for the group photo!).

This event is also a "Vote by Mail" Party, where you can update your voter registration, and learn how to request and complete a vote-by-mail application and ballot. There will be live music, and speakers including Bold Nebraska's Jane Kleeb and Larry Cohen, chair of Our Revolution.
