This is a virtual event

Political educators from chapters all around the country are encouraged to apply to the next term of the National Political Education Committee! The NPEC creates out-of-the-box curriculum materials for chapters around the country to use. We host national (and international) events with a broad range of speakers. We lead important trainings for chapters around the country, such as: how to run a Socialist Night School, how to facilitate, how to write and give speeches. We have our own political educators’ newsletter, are launching our own podcast next month, and contribute frequently to Democratic Left.

If any of that sounds like something you would like to get involved in this year, but you'd like to hear more: What do we do? What could you do? How do we decide on our educational programming? What sort of qualifications would be helpful for candidates to have? How are candidates chosen? How much time commitment is required? Come to one of the following two informational sessions and ask your questions!

April 23rd 1-2pm ET/ 10-11am PT: RSVP
