Nuclear ban hub in Port Augusta!

Start: Sunday, June 19, 2022 5:00 PM

End: Sunday, June 19, 2022 7:30 PM

The world is gathering in Vienna for the landmark first meeting of states parties to the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons. We will cross live to Vienna from Port Augusta during the global ICAN Civil Society Forum to share stories and perspectives on the impact of nuclear testing in Australia, and path towards a nuclear free future with the UN Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons.

The live cross to Vienna will be followed by the opportunity to watch the Japan nuclear ban hub, featuring the stories of survivors of the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Register now to join us in person in Port Augusta to tune in to the action, and stay for a discussion with local champions of a world free of nuclear weapons.

If you are joining this event or any of the other hubs online, please register here.

This event is free. Food and drink will be provided.

The following covid protocols will be observed:
