Join NY Renews for a conversation about where we're at with the #FundClimate campaign following the State Budget and the power we'll build over the coming months to protect our future in times of rising authoritarianism and disinvestment from critical environmental and public health programs.

We'll discuss what's next for the coalition's work to make our state healthier, safer, and more affordable in the remainder of the 2025 legislative session and the upcoming regulatory processes, with tangible ways to get involved and take action.

The #FundClimate campaign is about ensuring New York state spends money effectively and where it matters: increasing affordability, decreasing pollution, improving housing, and prioritizing communities that have suffered the most from pollution, disinvestment, and the burdens of burning fossil fuels.

We're continuing our call to advance New York’s emissions cap and invest program, so that polluters pay their fair share for polluting our climate and guardrails are in place to protect communities.

The billions in potential revenue that could help lower energy bills and improve the resiliency of our neighborhoods hangs in the balance while Governor Hochul delays releasing all program regulations to move it forward. Our campaign to"release the regs" for a transformative, equitable, just program goes hand in hand with Funding Climate from the lakes of Rochester to the beaches of Long Island. Let's get to it!
