Before Covid-19 hit, we were working with groups across the state on workshops about the root causes and solutions to the climate crisis. Over the past several months, we've been working hard on digitizing the curriculum and are thrilled to offer it to you as an online training!

These trainings are interactive, engaging, and action oriented, and will help us develop a shared analysis of the systems creating climate injustice -- and what we can do about it, together.

• Week 1 (July 9): Understanding the root causes of the climate crisis
• Week 2 (July 16): Identifying just solutions
• Week 3 (July 23): The work to get there

The full training course will include three 1.5 hour sessions every Thursday at 6pm for three weeks ( July 9, July 16, July 23)-- please only register if you can make all three sessions. We're capping this round of trainings at 25 people, but we'll be doing sessions (including sessions at different times, if these don't work for you) in the future. If we get more than 25 registrants, we will prioritize people affiliated with grassroots organizations and POC-led organizations for this first round of training. For this first round of training, anyone affiliated with a NY Renews member organization is welcome to sign up.
