Airtable is a very easy to use database that's a great alternative to many things you're currently doing in Googlesheets - especially things that involve keeping track of people, projects, events, or anything that has words in it. No prior experience with Airtable required or expected.

In Brooklyn Electoral Working Group last year, we used it to keep track of our entire candidate recruitment and endorsement process.  This past year we used it to manage all door-to-door canvassing for Phara's and Jabari's campaigns.  And then once we switched to phonebanking, Jabari's campaign used it for its event and volunteer management - as well as managing its relational organizing program.

During this training, we'll start with the basics of what Airtable is and what it's trying to do.  And we'll all individually make our own small volunteer management system from scratch during the call.

All NYC-DSA members are welcome to this training, even if you’re not plugged into the Electoral Working Group yet!
