700 Members of IUE-CWA Locals 81359 and 81380 have been on strike at Momentive Manufacturing in Waterford, NY since November 2nd.

They are fighting massive health care cuts for active workers, and to stop the complete elimination of health and life insurance coverage for retirees.

Since Momentive was spun off from General Electric to big private equity firms in 2006, wages have been slashed up to 50% and pensions frozen. The Momentive workers are saying "enough is enough" and they need OUR help.

The CEO of Apollo Global Management, which owns 40% of Momentive, is Leon Black, who is worth $5.4 billion. We are demanding that Leon Black, who has gotten rich destroying good jobs at companies like Momentive, tell Momentive CEO Jack Boss to go back to the table and negotiate a FAIR CONTRACT NOW!

Please join the Momentive strikers at this important rally in support of these brothers and sisters in their fight.

Organized by CWA District 1
