In the midst of attacks against LGBTQ+ Texans, UH Administration has failed to protect queer and trans students by overcomplying with SB17 and taking away on-campus resources. Furthermore, while UH President Renu Khator makes $1.2 million yearly, the adjunct professors who teach our classes and form the backbone of our university make less than $20,000. Khator and the rest of the UH Administration have made it clear that they refuse to listen to the needs of students.

We intend to force them to listen by holding a school walkout on October 26th. Only through organizing a mass movement of students and workers can we take back control of our university!

Our demands:

- For UH Administration to be transparent and cooperative with student plans for bringing back DEI programs

- Win a $10,000 raise for all staff and $15 minimum wage for students

-End the class shortage & allow students to graduate on time
