Commission meets Friday, March 28;
Save Ohio Parks press conference at noon

Heads up! It's been awhile, but the Oil and Gas Land Management Commission just announced it will meet this Friday, March 28. Save Ohio Parks will hold a press conference in advance of the meeting.

The press conference will begin at noon on the plaza outside the Ohio Department of Public Safety, Charles D. Shipley Building, 1970 W. Broad St., Columbus, OH 43223. The commission meeting will take place in the Atrium of the building at 1 p.m.

If there is any way you can make it to Columbus for this meeting, we could really use your presence. We need people to pack the room to show this commission that Ohioans do not want our parks and wildlife areas to be fracked.

The wishes of Ohioans regarding the fate of our public lands are clear -- but showing up at these meetings demonstrates what we think for the commissioners making these decisions. We have two new commissioners, plus a new chair. They need to hear from us!
