A Community Conversation Series:

Centering the Voices, Experiences, and Needs of Women to Build a Stronger Ohio

Join us for a series of weekly online conversations between the Ohio Women’s Public Policy Network and our coalition partners. During these events, you will have the opportunity to hear from and engage with Ohio leaders working to advance justice, equity, and social change for women and families in our community and across the state. You will also learn ways that you can amplify and join these efforts, with a particular focus on ensuring an accurate and complete census count.

We believe that the measure of success for our state and our communities is in large part determined by the success of Ohio’s women. The reality is: Women are foundational to the future of Ohio precisely because of their dual roles in our communities as both caregivers and breadwinners. Women are the backbone of families. Women keep our economy strong.

Our coalition partners are leading important work in the community to center the voices, experiences, and needs of women. Right now, the 2020 Census is one of the most meaningful ways that we ensure women make their voices heard and ensure that that their families, their neighbors, and their communities have the resources they need to thrive.

These virtual community conversations are free and open to the public to join. The events will be streamed on Facebook Live and recorded to view later on. Viewers will have an opportunity to ask questions during the live stream. More details on the schedule will be announced below:
