Working & Organizing in Trump's America

In Trump 2.0, the administration has intensified attacks against workers and the working class, including dismantling the federal workforce, rolling back worker rights and protections at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), deporting immigrant workers, and decimating funding for higher ed and nonprofits.

How have these attacks affected your work and workplace? How are your coworkers responding? And what can we do in our workplaces to fight back?

Join OKC DSA Labor Working Group for our March Workers' Circle!

On March 9th, we'll be hosting our monthly Workers' Circle to share information, learn together, and develop as labor organizers. Our discussion will focus on what the Trump administration means for work and workplace organizing.

For historical context on how workers and unions have organized in other repressive times, check out The History of Unions in the United States by Ronni Sandroff and Dark Times are Coming by Hamilton Nolan.

What is a Workers' Circle?

Workers' Circles are a labor-oriented round table designed to connect workers across sectors and industries, celebrate organizing wins, troubleshoot challenges, and learn skills and strategies to bring back to your own workplace struggles.

Who should participate?

Open to all workers but designed for the union curious, members of unions, and those working on workplace organizing campaigns. Feel free to invite your coworkers or others who might be interested in connecting and learning with other Oklahoma workers!

We will be hosting Workers' Circles every month. If you can't make it but want to be involved, email us at okc.dsa.usa@gmail.com.
