Join the Online Speakout Training on Saturday September 11th to the get the skills you need to turn your story into a powerful tool for action.

At the half-day training you will:

• Meet other young people from around the country who are passionate about winning solutions to the jobs and climate crisis.

• Learn how to craft your experience of looking for work or trying to plan your future in uncertain times into a powerful story that you can use to start conversations to change minds on climate and economic issues

• Learn how to create opportunities and seize your moment to tell your story to political decision makers, the media and the general public

• Make a plan for using your story for action with other young people in your community.

This half day online training will run from 10am to 2pm (AEST) and be delivered over Zoom. It is free to attend and is for people under the age of 35.

Accessibility note: We know it can be hard to pay attention over Zoom for long periods so we will take regular breaks, make sure the day is fun and interactive and are committed to making the training as accessible as possible. How is this connected to the Youth Jobs Survey?

We have been collecting hundreds of stories through our Youth Jobs Survey - if you haven’t already please share your story here>. At the end of September we will launch the results of this survey to media and MPs across the country. This will be a powerful moment to amplify our call for a Climate Jobs Guarantee. We will make a plan for making the most of this moment at the Speakout Training. Make sure you’re there!
