We are so pleased to invite you to our annual Spring Gathering. We have a wonderful guest speaker, David Swanson of World Beyond War, incredible raffle prizes, and will be honoring Johnny Keane as our Peace Action Person of the Year and Veterans for Peace, Northern NJ Chapter 21 with our Sylvia and Oscar Acklesberg Award. David Swanson is an author, activist, journalist, and radio host. He
is Executive Director of World BEYOND War and campaign
coordinator for RootsAction.org. Swanson's books include War Is
A Lie and When the World Outlawed War. He blogs at
DavidSwanson.org and WarIsACrime.org. He hosts Talk World
Radio and is a Nobel Peace Prize Nominee.  Swanson was awarded the 2018 Peace Prize by the U.S. PeaceMemorial Foundation. He was also awarded a Beacon of PeaceAward by the Eisenhower Chapter of Veterans For Peace in 2011.Swanson is on the advisory boards of: Nobel Peace Prize Watch,Veterans For Peace, Assange Defense, BPUR, and Military Families Speak Out. He is an Associate of the Transnational Foundation, and a Patron of Platform for Peace and Humanity.

Our Big Ticket Raffle Prize Item is a stay at the World Fellowship Center in beautiful New Hampshire. They are giving NJ Peace Action a 3 night stay for 2 during this coming summer, to be given as our prize in this year’s dinner raffle!

NJPA has had a warm relationship with World Fellowship for many years, with numerous members spending their summer vacations up there, and coming back refreshed for another year of peacemaking here in New Jersey!

World Fellowship Center is an unaffiliated camp and conference center offering summer hospitality, educational social justice-related workshops and lectures, recreational hike and bike outings, and creative opportunities for all ages near the White Mountain National Forest.
