Celebrate peace around the world this November 11, 2018, the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day, the end of World War I.

The Orcas Peace Chorus will provide music for a presentation on Armistice Day for the Orcas Island Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. This event is free and open to the public.

In the U.S., not only are we celebrating Armistice Day #100, but we're also celebrating the cancellation of President Trump's multi-million dollar military parade.

This Armistice Day, our demands are:

• Stop the glorification of war
• Divest from the war machine and use public dollars for human and environmental needs
• End all wars
• Return Veteran's Day in the U.S. to Armistice Day, a day to celebrate peace
