David Hunt is dedicated to creating social justice by     helping to build a sense of community, citizen empowerment, and bringing about positive collective       change.

Now more than ever, communities and individuals are feeling disconnected, disempowered, and disillusioned with their leaders, their families, their communities, and the world at large.  

This division causes breakdowns in trust, creates conflict in relationships, and intensifies the feelings of helplessness, anger, and disempowerment.

David founded David Hunt and Associates over 30 years ago. The company was designed to provide much needed citizen empowerment, community training and development. Much of David’s research, training and methodology were born during his three-year W.K. Kellogg Foundation National Leadership Fellowship.

David teaches courses, facilitates workshops, lectures and speaks on story & storytelling as a tool for community building, civic engagement, leadership development. David believes that by teaching others how to harness the power of storytelling, social justice, community development and empowerment, thriving communities, increased civic engagement, deep healing, and social change are created.

David has worked with a diverse and eclectic range of clients - from local and national non-profit organizations, local grassroots organizations, foundations and tertiary institutes, religious institutions, and government at all levels His energetic, charismatic, and fun-loving spirit creates opportunities for his clients and audiences to reflect, enjoy, learn, and grow together as they resolve conflict, plan strategically and organize powerfully.
