On Monday, August 3, we'll have our next “Dessert & Discussion” event. Here we gather (virtually), catch up on local and national events, then have a brief guided discussion on a chosen topic - with cake! Or with coffee, or fruit, or wine, or whatever you decide.

This week's discussion will be led by Alex Horn from the Howard County Young Democrats.

The Board of Education race is the only local election in 2020, and whichever faction wins will have control over Howard County Public Schools for at least the next two years. Come learn about who the candidates are, what they believe, and the new system of Board of Education districts.
