This participatory workshop at the Occupy for Climate camp in Parliament Gardens is an opportunity to discuss how to engage with the general public about the climate crisis, with a focus on public outreach at nonviolent actions. We will all share examples of strategies and conversations to handle a range of situations, primarily responding to people who are genuinely interested in learning more information and understanding the rationale for nonviolent civil disobedience. There will inevitably be some conversations about how to deal with interactions with rude/aggressive people who may also be climate deniers. Led by XR Vic Rebels Serena and Dan.

The workshop will be outdoors and the weather may be wet so come prepared with sitting mat/chair, umbrella etc.
