Building on the momentum of our June 27th event, Meet Your City Government, we began planning a series of events at our July 18th meeting. One upcoming event is Meet Your County and State Government to be held in October. A different format was proposed for this event: a 45 minute panel discussion followed by a social meet and greet session where attendees will be able to talk face-to-face with the panelists. Again, we are hoping to demystify government and encourage civic engagement, especially running for office.

We also discussed collaborating and supporting other actions and events in the area. These included a 3rd CD listening session on August 27th in Tomah, hosted by there local Indivisible group and supported by Voters Engaged.
