The training will take place in the morning and will give you the skills you need to run a tree planting event. We also hope that those attending may want to become ‘tree champions’ or ‘tree wardens’ – we’d like to see a network of people caring for trees in the city and across the county.

In the afternoon (at 2pm) we will look to do some tree planting at a nearby site in solidarity with the mass tree planting that will be going on in Santiago in Chile at that time to tie in with the UN Climate Talks (COP25). You do not have to come to the training session to join us for the planting
