On Friday, December 15th 8 undocumented youth and allies were arrested in Washington DC after visiting Senator Chuck Schumer andRep. Carlos Curbelo's office, demanding that they use the power they have within their party to pass a Clean #DREAMActNow.

Thanks to their sacrifice we were victorious in pushing Congress Members to refuse voting on a spending bill that did not include a clean Dream Act, but after three days, Senator Schumer caved to GOP demands and moved forward with a short-term funding bill. What we got in return is a disingenuous promise from Mitch McConnell that the Dream Act would be brought up by the 9th. With a Republican controlled White House, Senate and House, the likelihood of something passing is slim. That is why we need Democrats to do the right thing right now and use their leverage to deliver the country a moral win by passing the Clean Dream Act during the spending bill vote.

The #Dream8 will again face a judge on tomorrow to settle their case. Let's PACK THE COURTS to show support for their sacrifice. We will meet outside the courts at 8:45am tomorrow and we will prepare to go inside and stand in solidarity and turn their sacrifice into action.
