Join us for the Global Climate Strike at King Plaza on Sept 23 at 5PM in front of City Hall.

Our demands:

• We can all make a difference. In our personal lives. And in our communities.

• Demand that our community take urgent action to address the climate crisis and meet its carbon reduction goal.

• In solidarity with Amah Mutsun Tribal Band, we demand that the permit for the Sargent Quarry in Juristac be denied.

• Demand that the City of Palo Alto pass the sustainability and climate action plan.

• Demand that the City of Palo Alto launch the heat pump water heater program and replace the city’s dirty fossil fuel burning water heaters.

• Demand that these programs are available for all residents, regardless of their wealth and income levels.

• The City of Palo Alto will be presenting these programs Tuesday Sept 27 at 7:30pm. Please join us at city hall to let our city staff and council members know how important this is to you.
