Parking Day is a global movement where artists and activists transform curbside parking spots into public space. Time Lapse Dance & Community Board 7 invite you to join our Climate Strike/Parking Day action to occupy four spots normally used by fossil fuel-burning vehicles in a daylong mobilization of dance, community and climate resource sharing. Spot for Dance festival includes free workshops in the street for people of all ages and abilities and dance performances exploring themes of climate change and social justice. The Community Zone provides info and kid-friendly engagement on urban climate solutions. The daylong event culminates in a Climate Strike Solidarity Action Jam/Social Media Photo Op.
