Peace-Building in a post-COVID-19 World
Start: Saturday, June 26, 2021•10:30 AM
End: Saturday, June 26, 2021• 5:00 PM
As the government restrictions will be lifted in late June, Uniting for Peace is pleased to invite you to the Spring Conference 2021 on "Peace-Building in a post-COVID-19 World" on Saturday, 26th June, 2021.
While the countries of the world are grappling and overcoming the deadly
Coronavirus, some countries like USA and UK are supplying arms and
continuing warfare in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Libya inflicting horrific
deaths, starvation and disease. Moreover, the world is engulfed from one
crisis to the other – climate change to refugee displacement,
inequality to racism and populism to violation of human rights and civil
liberties, just to mention a few. To mitigate the chaos, Uniting for
Peace is organising an event in which distinguished speakers will
explore how campaigning organisations can work together to change
policies leading the way for building a peaceful world.
