Peace & Justice Conversations: Remaking the World One Story at a Time

Start: Monday, March 15, 2021 7:00 PM

Storytelling is arguably the oldest of art forms, and one of the most accessible. Andy Davis will frame a conversation about the unique possibilities of socially-engaged oral narrative. How might we make a peaceful, sustainable, compassionate, anti-racist society irresistible by connecting our listeners to heroes past and present, tapping into currents of folklore and oral tradition, and sharing stories of our own experience?

Andy Davis lives his life trying to balance the pursuits of truth and beauty through political activism and storytelling. For 20 years he has co-directed an oasis for freethinkers and change-makers, the World Fellowship Center, a peace and justice-oriented family camp and retreat center in the White Mountains.  His dream is to be a semi-itinerant bicycling storyteller.
