On January 9th, people in all 50 states will send a message to every US Senator: reject President Elect Donald Trump's reckless climate denying cabinet nominees. In Philadelphia, we will gather at Senator Casey's office then march to Senator Toomey's office (just a few blocks away at 1628 JFK Boulevard) and deliver this message.

The Day Against Denial will demonstrate strong public resistance to some of Trump’s most dangerous cabinet nominees:

• Rex Tillerson, CEO of Exxon, for Secretary of State
• Scott Pruitt for EPA Administrator
• Ex-Gov. Rick Perry for Secretary of Energy
• Rep. Ryan Zinke for Department of Interior

The climate is changing, we are already witnessing serious harmful effects to people and communities across the globe.  Human activity--primarily the use of fossil fuels--is largely responsible, and aggressive action is needed to speed the transition to an economically and environmentally just clean energy economy

Donald Trump denies all this and more:  he also denies the dignity of all people, denies the importance of human rights, and denies the needs of our communities.  The Day of Action Against Climate Denial will fight back against this complete disregard for human life, health, and safe, livable communities, and call on our Senators to reject Trump’s Climate Denying Cabinet picks.

That starts with rallies with all of our friends and neighbors, calling out our Senators to do the right thing and reject the nominations, and having direct conversation with the Senators’ staff to pass along the message that we, as constituents and voters, do not accept Trump’s dangerous nominations.
