Philly vs. Comcast: A Rally to Save the Internet

Start: Monday, September 15, 201412:30 AM

The future of the internet and telecommunication is under attack by Big Telecom. Right now, the FCC is facing two critical decisions that could change the internet as we know it:

  • The FCC is writing net neutrality rules that must be changed to protect real net neutrality by treating it as a public utility.
  • And, they must deny the Comcast Time Warner merger. This merger would make Comcast the only traditional cable provider available to nearly two-thirds of the U.S.

The problem is that Big Telecom has too much influence at the FCC.

In the coming week, advocates to save the internet are going to speak out and participate in actions around the country. Please join us as we fight to save the internet from Big Telecom.

On Sept. 15th, we're holding a big rally to save Net Neutrality and stop the Comcast merger—and we want you to be part of it.
