Planning New Southeast Caltrain Stations

Start: 2021-11-08 18:00:00 UTC Pacific Standard Time (US & Canada) (GMT-08:00)

This is a virtual event

SF Planning and the San Francisco County Transportation Authority (SFCTA) are exploring options for future station locations on the Caltrain corridor in southeastern San Francisco. The Pennsylvania Ave Extension (PAX) rail tunnel is still under concept development, but is envisioned to bring Caltrain and High Speed Rail trains underground to eliminate grade crossings at 16th St and Mission Bay Dr. It may require the redesign or relocation of 22nd St station, and opens opportunities to serve Mission Bay and the Bayview with modern electric rail.

Come join Streets for People, Friends of Caltrain, and SF Transit Riders on Mon Nov 8th as we hear an update from SFCTA planners on this important project. Please RSVP to register. A Zoom link will be sent out by email shortly before the meeting.
