As we watch the easing of Lockdown and hear the roar of traffic once more, the need to consider and organise for a “New Normal” becomes most urgent.

Given the critical point we have reached in the Climate Emergency, Climate Action Plymouth and Plymouth Climate Council are co-hosting Plymouth Climate Summit in order to bring together climate groups from across the city and local vicinity as a meeting of minds for campaigners and activists.

Originally planned as a large face-to-face group meeting, hosted by the University of Plymouth, the current situation has led us to move it online.

We invite you and members of your group to participate.

Objectives:

•       To bring groups together to share information, plans and ideas

•       To create links and collaboration

•       To agree on action plans to take forward

Proposed structure:

Part one (one hour)

•       Introductions and key speakers (3)

Break (20 minutes)

Part two (40 minutes)

•       Breakout rooms to share ideas and plan actions (3)

Part 3 (30 minutes)

•       Feedback from breakout rooms with plans for action

•       Farewell.
