Join the DSA-LA Political Education for our monthly meeting! At this meeting we will be debriefing from last month's committee retreat and discussing plans for upcoming educational events for the chapter. Whether you a regular member or a brand new attendee, we welcome you to join us at LA Historic Park!

For the first part of the class we will be discussing Ruth Wilson Gilmore's Golden Gulag, the book we are reading the last several months. We will be reading Chapter 4, which you can read for yourself by clicking here. Reading the chapter is not required to join the meeting, but we welcome anyone interested in learning about the history of California's prison system to participate.
