Press conference: The situation at the border in Evros with Greens/EFA Members of the European Parliament

Next Monday the 19th, Greens/EFA MEPs will visit Evros, the border region in Greece to meet with officials and activists and to see the situation regarding the treatment of refugees and migrants at the border. Our MEPs will look into reports of pushbacks at the borders, the use of biometric mass surveillance against refugees and migrants, the use of EU funds and the rule of law in Greece.

Following the visit, on Tuesday the 20th at 11:00am (Athens time) Greens/EFA MEPs Tineke Strik, Erik Marquardt, Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield and Saskia Bricmont will hold a press conference at the European Parliament Liaison Office in Athens.
