Prevent Support Heal Campaign Briefing #2

Start: 2020-05-06 10:00:00 UTC Perth (GMT+08:00)

This is a virtual event

People with mental health challenges, their families and the organisations that care for them have banded together and launched a new campaign to properly fund community-based mental health services and prevention supports called Prevent Support Heal.

The campaign will highlight the need to keep people with mental health challenges connected and living well in their recovery journey in the community and out of emergency departments and acute hospital environments, unless absolutely necessary.

Join us for a campaign briefing on how you can be involved in telling the State Government that we need to properly fund community mental health services.

The Covid-19 pandemic has proven that community-based mental health supports need to be properly resources to keep people connected and well and out of hospital.

Some ways you can contribute could be to tell your story, leaflet your neighbourhood or ask your friend to join us as we campaign through the March 2021 election.

This event will be operated on Zoom, so to attend the event, please register and we will send you a link to join us.

Thanks for supporting community mental health, we will see you soon!
