Protect The Children

Raise your voice! Tell Congressman Fitzpatrick to #ProtectTheChildren!

For 18 months, the government has been on the attack against children—from taking babies, toddlers, pre-teens and teenagers from their parents at the border to preventing children from leaving government custody to be with their families.

The federal agencies in charge have proven that they are out of control and incompetent. As documented in a recent report by the ACLU, immigrant children are being subjected to widespread abuse while in custody.

Criminalizing families and separating children from their parents is shocking and inhumane. It violates our conscience at the deepest level, and cannot be ignored. We must speak for the children and families who cannot speak for themselves.

Our elected representatives must speak out as well. Representative Brian Fitzpatrick needs to step up and fight to keep families together. He needs to call out this administration’s dehumanizing, racist, and cruel treatment of immigrant families. He needs to #ProtectTheChildren.

Join us for this community action. We’ll have speakers, community comment forms, informational handouts, and more. We also ask that you bring a teddy bear, children’s book, toy, or article of clothing to leave outside Fitzpatrick’s office. Signs are encouraged, too!
