2 pedestrians were killed by drivers and their cars within less than 10 days on Lombard Street. We’re sad, but also angry that we continue to have a dangerous street in our neighborhoods. But we can make a difference NOW! Governor Newsom has Senator's Scott Wiener's Bill SB960 on his desk and needs to sign it by Monday. SB960 would make the state transportation agency Caltrans accountable to pedestrian safety. Lombard Street in the Marina is as US-101 under the supervision of Caltrans.
