Hey NYC DSA!

The time/place for our District Attorney Candidate Forum has been set! We are inviting all candidates who have filled out our questionnaire to speak about their vision for the position and giving our members a chance to ask them questions. This race is a chance to work towards our goals of closing Rikers, reducing the number of people in pre-trial detention, and reducing harm borough-wide by transforming the Queens DA office from a major proponent of mass incarceration into an ally in the fight to radically change (and ultimately destroy) our criminal justice system.

Like the AOC town hall, the event will be split into two sections: first moderators will ask questions that members submit online here, and then attendees will have a chance to come up to the mic and ask questions in person. We may use a progressive stack system if there are many questions.
