Queer Crafting Hours - Pants Tailoring 101

QUILT is partnering with Daybreak Arts to offer a special Queer Crafting Hour series.
We’ll be holding a pants only clothing swap followed by a lesson on tailoring, repairing, and personalizing pants.
During our lesson, we’ll discuss the ecological importance of repairing and reusing clothing, how clothing choices impact perceived gender, the politics of respectability, and reconnecting to and finding joy in creative labor.

Future events will cover other types of clothing.
This venue is wheelchair accessible EXCEPT for the bathroom, which is too small to turn a chair around in. If you are partially ambulatory, this may not be a problem.
