Queer Crafting Hours - Skirts and Dresses 101

QUILT is partnering with Daybreak Arts to offer a special Queer Crafting Hour Lesson.
This lesson will be about tailoring, mending, and shopping for skirts and dresses. We will also hold a skirts and dresses only clothing swap.
During our lesson, we’ll discuss the ecological importance of repairing and reusing clothing, how clothing choices impact perceived gender, the politics of respectability, and reconnecting to and finding joy in creative labor.

This venue is wheelchair accessible except for the bathroom, which is very small. If you are partially ambulatory this may not be a problem.
