Join Central Jersey DSA along with other organizations and people to talk about how we can organize in our towns and counties to defund the police, as we learn how we can build a police-free future. We will have breakout groups for counties.

As we protest in towns across New Jersey, we can also make concrete demands in our towns and counties. On previous calls, we talked about the difference between reformist reforms which continue or expand the reach of policing, and abolitionist steps that work to chip away and reduce its overall impact. This chart is really helpful when thinking about it looks like.
