GRAND FORKS, ND-- Area people will gather Saturday, Jan. 21 at 10 am at Archives Coffee House to speak up for a positive future for all.

This local event is in support of the Women’s March on Washington, following the upcoming inauguration of the new president. According to the national event's official website, the Women's March on Washington aims to "send a bold message to our new administration on their first day in office, and to the world, that women's rights are human rights."

In Grand Forks, participants will lift up their coffee cups to American ideals that are still attainable. Women will share what they value most about our wonderful country and what they will work to protect. Like those gathering in our nation’s capital, we invite people to Show UP, Stand UP and Speak UP for our rights, our safety, our health, and our families -- the strength of our country.

Archives is located at 3012 University Ave., across from the Chester Fritz Library. Parking available behind the shop.
