End: Tuesday, June 01, 2021 3:30 PM

On Tuesday, June 1, the RI Senate will be voting on the 100% renewable electricity bill (H5762/S0629). This law would get Rhode Island on track to meet its 2030 climate goals and be the most ambitious renewable energy law in the nation.

Let's rally to show our support for this crucial and groundbreaking legislation! The Senate convenes at 3pm, so arrive by 2:30pm to meet them before they get inside. Bring signs and wear Green (Act On Climate) t-shirts.

Logistics:

Above is a map of Rhode Island College. The entrance you may find most convenient is off Mt. Pleasant Avenue (marked on the right). The Senate meets in Sapinsley Hall, in the John Nazarian Center (left side of map).

We'll meet in the rotary right off College Road, marked by the green star. Senators will walk by on their way to Sapinsley Hall, whether coming in from the East or West. You should be able to park in any parking lot on campus.
