On Dec. 1 , Asarco/Grupo Mexico plans to unlawfully implement an unfair contract that would force union employees to work under conditions to which they didn’t agree. These workers have been fighting for a fair contract for more than 2 1/2 years, but Asarco has responded with lawsuits, threats of implementation, and a refusal to agree to a just and equitable contract.

We deserve a fair deal that will mean economic security for our families and communities – not deep cuts to benefits and retiree health care with no wage increases. Grupo Mexico has a long history of abusing workers and harming communities across Mexico and South America. We won’t stand for their reckless behavior here.  Join us to call for a fair contract!
