Rally for Global Vaccine Access

Start: Friday, March 11, 2022 6:30 PM

March 11 marks two full years since the WHO declared the COVID-19 virus a global pandemic. Since then, even as countries around the world have begun and continued their rollout of vaccines, we've witnessed and experienced the tremendous amounts of human suffering brought on by vaccine hoarding, pharma greed, policy failure, and inequality.

The Biden Administration, especially Coronavirus Response Coordinator Jeff Zients, has pledged to lead with public health, evidence and human rights in its response to COVID-19. In reality, their decisions have failed to guarantee an equitable global distribution of vaccine supplies, manufacturing capacity, and information. And two years later, the pandemic rages on, when so much suffering could have been preventable.

Join us on March 11 as we protest the policy failures of Jeffrey Zients and demand that the administration do its part to ensure widespread global vaccine access.

We will meet at the McPherson Square metro station at 6:30pm. Please be fully vaccinated and wear a mask to attend.
