Rally to End Violence
Start: Thursday, January 16, 2020• 3:00 PM
What impact has violence had on you and your school?
What should our city do to stop violence in our community?
Three people under the age of 17 have been fatally shot in the District since the start of the school year. An additional 19 children have been victims of nonfatal shootings, according to data from D.C. police.
It is time that our city ACTED to #EndViolence.
Earlier this school year, students at Anacostia High School called on Mayor Bowser and city leaders to Take Action. Join them in calling on our city to #EndViolence in our communities.
