The Port of Oakland wants to add a new terminal with 16 new gates to the Oakland airport to double the number of flights in the next 15 years.  

Twice as many flights would mean...

• More global warming
• More ultrafine particle pollution under the flight paths in East Oakland and Fruitvale
• More asthma, heart disease, cancer, and early death amongst in the vulnerable communities of East Oakland and Fruitvale, already overburdened with pollution

The Final Environmental Impact Report, up for a Port Commission certification vote on November 21 at 4:00 PM...

• Is full of lies
• Does not include the Health Impact Assessment study requested by the Alameda County Public Health Department
