Leaders from across Reading spent four years building public relationships and listening to one another’s experiences, fears, and hopes.
At the Founding Assembly we launch our dues-based alliance of faith, education, community and trade union organisations and pledge to work together for the common good.
Join us to celebrate the founding of Reading Citizens; a people-powered alliance of local institutions working together to win positive change for our communities.

- Artefacts from the Museum of Rural Life archives
- Celebrating the launch of the new alliance
- Introducing Community Organising
- Negotiating for Change on local issues
- Working together to make progress on street safety and migration justice
Venue information
Doors open at 6.40pm. The event will start promptly at 7pm.
The Great Hall is clearly signposted. Enter the London Rd Campus via the Porter's Lodge on London Rd and follow signs for the Great Hall.

Free parking is available on the London Road campus after 5pm.
